Welcome friends for tea this week. I've missed a couple of the gatherings from being away on vacation in Mexico, and how I missed my afternoon tea!
This week I'm celebrating with friend Sandi from Rose Chintz Cottage on the occasion of her third anniversary of hosting Tea Time Tuesday where blogging friends meet for tea.
I don't have any Rose Chintz china to share but did look through my photos of roses for pretty pink ones to honour my friend.

Happy Anniversary Sandi
The table is set with silk roses in a vintage iron centrepiece. I changed the candlestick holders to accommodate tea lights.
One of my favourite picture frames with a Georgianna Lane original of pink roses; the two were meant for each other.
The little heart tea bag holder has held everything except a tea bag and it was part of a giveaway I won from Sandi.
Looking down into the tea canister, Cream Earl Grey tea is what I'm serving today. The tiny blue petals are annual blue cornflower.
Royal Albert's Lavender Rose is the teapot used for special occasions.
I decided upon the Paragon Victoriana Rose cup and saucer and am using a close up from another tea. If the truth be known, my camera battery ran out and when I started putting my post together - no photo of the tea cup by itself.
I baked some peanut butter cupcakes that are topped with peanut butter icing; a delicious treat with tea.
The recipe is from the amazing Canadian team of bloggers 'Mennonite Girls Can Cook'.
I have been reading through the Best of Bliss Victoria magazine with my tea and it's full of ideas and recipes.
I hope you'll join Sandi and her guests for tea too and don't forget to wish her a happy anniversary.
The weekly gatherings wouldn't be complete without these other lovely ladies:
Ruth for Tuesday Cuppa Tea
Bernideen for Friends Sharing Tea
Terri for Tea Cup Tuesday
Kathy for A Delightsome Life

The special tea you put together today is absolutely lovely.
I adore the Lavender Rose Royal Albert teapot you have - definately one of the most beautiful patterns RA has ever done.
Have a blessed week.
So many favorite things in your post! Sandi's blog, Mennonite Girls blog, Victoria magazine and your gorgeous teapot and teacups. Heaven! I love peanut butter, but hadn't thought of icing...don't know why! Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Beautiful collage of roses! Love the pretty roses in the lovely frame as well, and your cupcakes look both pretty and delicious. I have a peanut butter sheet cake recipe that's served with a peanut butter/confectioner's sugar icing. It is delish as well. Very cold here today, it was below 0 this morning.
Beautiful roses, tea and lovely post!
Lovely teascape, Judith. The roses are so dainty on the china. I'll have a peanut butter cupcake! :D Happy Tea Day!
Hello Judith,
Welcome back, my friend, you have been missed! And what a lovely post; thank you! Your collage of pink roses is beautiful and I always enjoy seeing the Lavender Rose teapot. I like the warmer too. Now, I could really go for a peanut butter muffin and a cup of tea. That is a pretty tea too sprinkled with cornflowers. Don't they make pretty tea these days? It's quite a change from the old Red Rose my mother always made. Thank you for coming to tea and helping me to celebrate today. I appreciate you and your freindship. Stay warm this week. It's a cold one!
Blessings,
Sandi
Oops, I meant to say cupcake, not muffin! ;)

Ohhhh...I missed that recipe...must look for it some day when I am not so hungry for sweets that I would eat a dozen. Beautiful tea you have set here. Does that pot of tea stay warm on that gadget?
Hi Judith,
what a wonderful table you have set in honor of Sandi's anniversary. Lavender Rose is such a feminine pattern and Victoriana Rose is very close. Ahnd the cupcakes on the Chintz plate are really tempting. As I could see on the former posts you had a lovely time in Mexico. Unbelievable that you have such upgrown Grandkids already. Its a lovely family, you have.
Best greetings, Johanna

Hi Judith,
A beautiful tea in honor of Sandi! Your teapot is so lovely and your choice of teacup so pretty! I love peanut butter frosting and haven't had that for a long time. Hope you had a wonderful holiday in Mexico and stay warm at home!

That rosy teapot is reason enough to brew a pot of tea. Do you know the Anne Murray song, "Put on Another Pot of Tea"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-MZU0aMNUM
